Funny Funny Stuff

I dont know where to post this so I will just put it here.
I woke up this morning and one of my dogs went to the bathroom in the dining room. It was enormous to say the least. In fact, it was so impressive that thought I would share it with one of my co-workers. He told me a story that "took the cake".

They purchased one of the Roomba "robot vacuum cleaners" for his house. His wife turned it on before going to work and left. Well, the dog ended up going to the bathroom (number 2) while they were gone and the Roomba decided to clean it up. Instead of cleaning it up, it ended up draging the poop around the house for a few hours. Apparently the path it took was clearly marked out as it made its way around the entire house. HA! I just imagine what they thought when they got home. The Roomba was probably very pleased with its performance.

Oh my Goodness!!! That must have been really gross and upsetting, bless their hearts, I guess the lesson is, don't leave an appliance on while you are gone.

The whole point of a Roomba is that can work while you are gone.
I have seven cats and three dogs so I would never get one. There is cat barf on the floor every morning.
I think the Roomba would go on strike.

our little dog keeps doing his thing in the dining room when we aren't looking--only my husband did not laugh this morning when he found it!! can't imagine what he would do if the robot vacumm job happened here!
a friend had a doggy door and had a neighbor check on and feed her dogs while she was away for a few days --it rained and those dogs just had a great time playing in the mud and running in the house and starting over again--and over-and over! before the neighbor got over there--i think she was nice enough to clean up the dogs and most of the mess! now that's a nice neighbor!

Perfect example of why there is no reason to do housework. I like the garden where its good to have poop!

HA! Now I have even more reasons to play outside all summer instead of doing indoor chores...wonder if the husband would buy into any of it?

Oh my gosh! I don't know what I'd have done if I'd come home to THAT mess!! LOL

For those of you with animals that eliminate inappropriately, be sure to clean up the area with an enzymatic cleaner so all the smell is gone and the animal is less likely to return to the scene of the crime and use that same spot again. (They'll just move onto another spot! LOL)

Mother, 82, has a Roomba and an indoor beagle. So far "that" has not happened, and I don't want to be around if it ever does. I have not gotten a Roomba since I thought it would freak out my cats that see boogers everywhere and come unglued when the doorbell or phone rings or the icemaker drops a tray of ice.

The other side of not doing housecleaning is this last week. I have a lot of family, who know cleaning is not my forte, coming tomorrow and staying all week-end. I have been cleaning like crazy for the last week, and I really hate cleaning because it lasts for such a short time. The cats are looking around like this is not their home.

My to-do list is in Word, and I have been cutting and pasting from one day to the next until I have about two weeks' worth left to do by noon tomorrow. When guests arrive, I'll relax. Dear Erma Bombeck once said to pull the vacuum cleaner out into the middle of the room so that guests will know you were just about to clean. I loved her and follow her advice!

I hate cleaning too, but sometimes it has to be done, unfortunately.

A little soap and bleach now and then does indeed work miracles. Does anyone actually like to clean or do we just like the results. Still I would rather be raking leaves, digging in the dirt or just sitting under a tree than mopping a floor.

My brother just got here for Thanksgiving and his dog Jesse is a compulsive pee-er. We went to the store about 2 years ago and got adult diapers and cut a hole for the tail. Then we duct tape it to her. It works okay but is very funny. I will maybe get a pic tomorrow.

I have a teenage son named Jesse, please post a picture . Duct tape is good for everything. HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Juju...We tried the diaper routine with a weak bladdered daushound once. Funniest thing you ever saw..as soon as we sat her down, she ran down the stairs with both hind legs up in the air and promptly ripped it off in a frenze as she hit the bottom!! So wish I had a video of that.

I guess the funniest part was convincing the college girl checking me out at the grocery store that the diapers werent for me. I am pretty sure she didnt buy my story.

I would not have believed it either if I hadn't seen it. You should take the picture back to the store I bet the person who checked you out could use a good laugh. I had a baby goat that this would have worked for but I didn't think about the duct tape. Maybe next time...

I have an old dog who just needs to go often. I should try this. Here's a link to something else i just found out about:

I guess they think of everything! When my teenage son Jessie makes me mad I'm going to use the above picture of Jesse (the dog) as pay back.
