I have two of these plants, one which blooms fuschia and the other red outside, fuschia inside, otherwise they are pretty much similar plants. I have also seen lavendar, red, red and white, pink, and white, to name a few of the colors are these hybrids like schlumbergia or clutivars of the same plant Hatoria gaertneri?
Hatoria gaertneri, a hybrid menagerie?
I did a little research and I found that these look like the "Easter Cactus" and found they may also go by RHIPSALIDOPSIS So far I have found 2 species.

Yeah, they go by Rhipsalis, Rhipsadilopsis, and Hatoria depending on who seems to be in charge, but I am talking about the plant, which seems to be quite hybridized.
Here is part of the answer. http://cactus.biology.dal.ca/paulS/christmas/christmas.html
And more information on the plants. http://pagesperso-orange.fr/cactusepiphytes/z_page_les_cactus_de_paques_1.htm
Interesting references! Funny though, I have a harder time with my two schlums. than I do with the Rhips.
Take some pics ones that show off the leaves and we can see what we know.
Rhipsadilopsis is another one of those heavily hybridized for flower color. Mine have hairy leaf ends that the flowers come from the two above look more schlumberegesque than mine, but flowers are true. more cactiform flowers, multi petals in a whorl Rhip, in the Shlumbergerera form, Shumbergerera.
You will learn more than I know in a short time. Oh, that second pice the leaf has a hole in it. ;-)
