crock pot recipe for 5 pound pot roast

as part of our thanksgiving dinner i am making a 5 pound pot roast in the slow cooker. all i really need to know is how long to cook it. i first brown the roast on all sides and then add 1/2 cup beef stock to the crock pot

has anyone cooked a 5 pound pot roast and if you did how long did you cook it for and whether its on high or low. thanks

i've seen recipes that cook a 3 lb roast for 8-10 hours on low and 4-5 on high but they don't include browning it.
