Some baby pics

Here are the Blue Cochin babys I ordered for Ty 4-H. They are so cute :)
The larger chick is from my white hen. Her loose bowels are getting better and she seems to be eating better now that they are separated. It was pretty heartbreaking to watch her frantically try to find her baby thou.
Their feet are really a lot harder to keep clean than I thought. anyone have any tricks for removing the yuck from their foot feathers?

Awwww so cute..I love Blue Cochins and they have such sweet natures, even the roos.

If their feet feathers get real yukky you can wash them in warm water and dry them, that's the only way I know to get the yuck off. When they get older they keep their feet feathers clean so they don't get as yukky as one would think.

To keep them form slipping on the newpaper put some paper towels over it then when they get a few days older you can use pine shavings. They are so cute!Nothing is so cute as baby chicks.
