Unknown violet

Charlottesville, VA(Zone 7b)

Hi...anyone have a clue as to what violet this is..by name? It was a generic Lowe's (I think) standard violet....and after first bloom, of course, only leaves for months...then ...a 'zillion' buds
popped out and last count....50, 50 blossoms and still opening more..

It's beautiful....anyone know it by name??

Thanks for your input...

Many of those plants are Optimara, you can go to their website and they have some pictures of their plants and you might match it up. If you see one you think it might be... You should put on the label something like

Noid (no identification)
"Looks like Opt ____"

There are thousands and thousands of av's and many look very simular, so unless it comes with a name, you should consider it an unknown variety. That way if you trade the leaves or plantlets, it won't be mislabeled if it is not the plant it looks like.
