i want to root mine. lmk if you have ever done it before. thanks.
does anyone grow sinningias?
They are pretty easy to root with cuttings. Just stick a piece in a pot.

zozzl do you have any hardy varieties?
I don't really know if they are hardy or not but they haven't died yet, LOL! I find them pretty easy. I have a tendency to overwater so that is something I need to be careful of. Also I use a lot of perlite when growing non AVs and they don't seem to like vermiculite very much; at least that is my experience.

Hi;
I have quite a few sinns.you can always do top cuttings & as long as you keep them domed for a few days they should fine.Some do periodically go to sleep.Most are pretty hardy.

I'm just getting the first blooms from some of the seeds of country snowflake x self. If any are special, I will take cuttings of them and root them. I like to root my cuttings in the clear deli containers (potato salad and fruit and such come in them)...I put my dampened potting soil mix in the bottom and put in my cuttings, pop on the top. tish

look at these sinningia's. they are hardy to zone 7b. does anyone have any of those?
I had the S. Sellovi but I haven't seen it in a while. I can let you know if it comes back in the spring. It was in the yard.
