These are black cheeked lovebirds. I am trying to help with the increase of their numbers in captivity.They are terribly low in numbers in the wild.They only come from two river valleys in Zambia. These are all captive raised. they are quiet and rather shy birds.. I hope they prosper for me. We need more to insure their survival in the future.The pic shows them in a holding cage I brought them home in.
