Saw this at Agway. Seems to be promoted as a playing field covering--is it also what I would use in Tapla's container mix? I know that one can purchase much smaller bags of Turface, but they're also called Turface MVP so perhaps it's all the same thing?
Thanks in advance.

Is this the right Turface for a planting mix?
That's the stuff! If you're using it in the gritty mix, it's best if you screen it through insect screen first, or through a household strainer with mesh about the same size as the insect screen. Use the fines in hypertufa or add to the garden/beds.

Use the fines in hypertufa or add to the garden/beds.
Oops - nope. The fines are the finest particles - the ones that pass through the screen.

Oh, I get it (I think.) The fines are too SMALL for the container-mix I want, so I should use them for something else. The bits that don't pass through the screen are good for the mix.
Yup - exactly right.
