Brown Hooded Owlet

The Brown Hooded Owlet will be a moth. The aster I found it on was a volunteer. Both were a first in my flower bed.

Nice shot Billy. You might want to add it to bugfiles.

Have you pictures you have taken of the adult? If so add them also.

That sure is a pretty cat.

Thanks Shelia, I ve never had him before and really had to search for his identity. I finally found him, of all places, on the COVER of my Caterpillars of Eastern North America book. I couldn't find him inside. LOL! I have never seen the adult. I've never added anything to bugfiles either.

Thanks Frostweed!

Just click on the link I put in my previous post...page to the bottom where it says "...upload an image". It works from the browse button just like your post. You can add a brief statement if you want, but isn't required. Then it will show the picture and ask if you are satisified with it and want to post it.

Shelia_FW, thank you for doing the work for me. I thought I'd have to see if it had been entered and if not, fill out the paperwork. :o)

I have added my photo and comments. It's funny, I haven't ever had time to look thru the bug and plant files. Hopefully, when we finally upgrade to a faster speed, I can zip thru them! Right now, this old computer acts up if pushed to actually perform. Grrr!
