need appetizer ideas for a Holiday open house

I am having an open house on December 19th and I need some easily prepared and served appetizer ideas. I will be doing crackers and cheese (MMMM baked brie) and veggies but I need some suggestions that can withstand some sitting out and still look and taste great.

There will be alcohol involved so the beginning of the night is much more important than the end!
