Just letting y'all know they are in Thunder Bay. I will put them in the mail on Monday .. can't say to 'WHO' as I haven't the list ^_^

OH SUSAN !!! Calgary has a few Westie breeders AND there is also a Westie rescue (like what Carol does with Shelties) located in I believe Airdrie (sp)
WE so want another puppy and were called 2 weeks ago with an offer of a little boy .. would have been a pup of Lilly's Mom, but, with Lorna in a wheelchair and using a walker as well .. we decided against it .. there will be a litter in the spring though .. and just 450K from here due west ^_^
The trio have just watched me as I searched for my car keys .. gads .. how do 'things' hide away so effectively with NO help whatsoever !!!!??? I did find them ..
Tomorrow we are off to the Conservatory in the city .. betcha we'll have some wonderful pics for ya ... they have their annual Chrysanthemum dispaly on prior to their FULL OUT Poinsietta blow out !!
Question to Ann .. I take it they are westward bound after this ? To Sask ? for some reason I thought someone else in ONT had asked to have them. Course .. I coulda dreamt that !!!

oh, I like westies alright, Marilyn, and I like poms, too - but not gonna get a dog. We have a cat that would have kiniptions if we did.
We have enuff probs with her, both of us going to work everyday as we do.
I don't think it's fair to an animal to leave it alone all the time. If Bob weren't such a softie, and taking in strays, I'm not sure we'd have a cat either (I know, all the animal lovers on this forum will try to convince me otherwise.........).
I can love animals all I want but, that doesn't mean I'd be a good pet owner (present cat, excluded of course).
I get intense when someone abuses them (my pet peave!) and feel that some people that have 'em don't deserve 'em!!! (oh yes, I can get intense on that one!).
I will take care of, and love, the cat I have. If anything happened to her, I'd be devastated, but I would most assuredly NOT replace her (can't understand how someone can "replace" a family member, can you?????).
anyway, enuff soapboxing lol

We are back from our day of sightseeing, all be it in the drizzle. The trio faired well .. and, as the weather is predicted to be 'THEE PITS' fro the next couple of days .. I may just call todays venture good, and hustle them on to Saskatchewan on Monday.

OKAY .. we started out at Hillcrest Park .. a lookout that provides a tremendous view of Lake Superior, AND, on a good day, the Sleeping Giant. It also houses some WW II Memorabilia which the trio found DEEELIGHTFUL !!!

Seems the enjoyment of HEIGHT is a definite characteristic of these gnomes ^_^
A visit outback wouldn't be complete without a stop to test out the electric fence .. which, of course, was OFF !!!!
