I have 2 cuttings of H coriacea that have been growing in the same pot. Both were doing fine and growing well. 1, however, has packed up, a vine with about 30 leaves, yet the other one in the same pot, a bit smaller, is still fine, and has been for a couple of weeks. The sickly vine has been removed and is now in the propagater again in pieces to root....but, how come 1 stem packed in, probably root rot, and the other is still fine....no problems, both in the same pot, both obviously getting exactly the same attention ? A mystery

2 in same pot
I keep saying, Hoyas and cats were put on this earth to drive us insane...
I like that 3G!!! Good!
Dom...could have been the side of the pot it was growing on, a bug, just about anything... 2 plants in a pot aren't too different from two plants growing in the crotch of a tree...and they compete for what's there...not "a competition" but each one is going to suck up the available nutrients and get the most water it can. Perhaps there is just not the right balance? Doen'st mean it can't work...I have grown twos and threes together...works fine....
I just (separately) potted up together two wallinianas, two vitensises and two DS-70s together. None are overly mature plants, all are rom different sources but look identical to me. Thus, my number of different hoyas decreased by 3 (because they're not!)... I have two calycinas I'm considering as well, but also thinkng theyd be better off apart, maybe one as an Xmas present.
LOL at Threeg's statement. I wanted to say Hoya's, Husbands and Cats! ^_^
