Lovely, Don. That is Epiphyllum pumilum. I love mine. The blooms stay open here on a cloudy day until about noon.

Hi Clare
Yep thats the cutting you sent me!
It's a monster now,it was reaching,or should I say hanging down about 12 ft,before I cut it back and brought it inside for the winter.
And yep looks like her mother now,you have pictured!
It will bloom several times during the winter.

Oh, that is so great to hear. I'm glad it is doing well for you. I think it is my favorite epiphyllum.

I have your epiphyllums here in my garden too, and they always make me think of you! One of the ones that you sent me -- a yellow called Frances C., I think -- is fragrant too and smells so good.

Same here, funny how plants bring back great memories, and where and how you came to have them, over the years!

That's so true. I remember with a smile unwrapping several packages from you. It was like Christmas! Those were just cuttings then, and now they are huge plants! I don't post here much anymore, but I saw your name pop up today and wanted to connect with you. I'm afraid I abandoned Facebook! LOL! There is no time these days for anything, but it was nice to spend a few minutes with you here today:-)

Tropicman: Absolutely GEORGEOUS!!!!!! Last summer, I had four flushes on my epi oxys and one night, about 9:00, I opened the door to the sunroom (without turning on the light) to see if they were opening and was met by this heavenly fragrance. I sat on the sofa for awhile and listened to music and watched the fireflies through the glass ceiling in the sunroom. It was one special time I will never forget. Those of us who have epiitis have a disease where there is only one cure -- more epis!!!

Sandy, hurry up and get well soon!!

Ah,a month will come and go before you know it!
Jean,I know your so right!!!
The fragrance from epies, are probably a stronger aroma than any other flower I can think of,and it travels the furthest as well!
