Amazon.ca is now selling stuff other than books and toys to Canadians under the following headings:
*Kitchen & Dining
*Furniture & Décor
*Bedding & Bath
*Home Appliances
*Patio, Lawn & Garden
The sales aren't what I've seen over the border (most aren't on sale) but with time maybe we will also see somewhat discounted prices here. What little I've scanned seems to show low to high end products available.
Naturally the above is exciting to me (3/4's of whats shown wouldn't be seen in a small prairie town ;-).
Oh Canada LOOK at what is now available to us!
Always wanted a cedar bridge!Trouble is I'd have to build the stream/pond to go with it!
Carol I must admit that one caught my eye too (as did a number of other items until I looked at their price tag ;-).
WOWSER everything is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive IMPO :O
I looked at that bridge and think I would like one of those. Can you guestimate the shipping costs on that one?
Aren't they beautious sigh?
I have a new saw...
I could stand and watch somebody make one, offering lots of advice in the process!
Sounds good to me. Bring some Cedar boards if you wouldn't mine.
You GO GIRL echoes. O good Carol. I want DH to make me a big cedar planter box for the upper deck next summer. You can be foreperson!
edit: politically correctifying 'foreman' to 'foreperson'

Echoes it would be simpler for you to bring your saw here!
Although Im not sure you would be allowed on the plane????
I dont do PC Les! foreman is fine with me!
Sure Carol. And then I would have to leave the bridge there. I hope you have room. Wait a minute, how is this helping me to have a bridge?
"I don't do PC" - love it!
If you build it we will come.
Hey you all, I bet it is "some assembly required" Ha Ha
Ann
Oh I have lots of room, just dont have a stream over which to place the bridge!
Yes we can make it in pieces and you can take it back home with you! Well actually we could make several and then sell them for outragesous prices!
Hiya - found you all!
Never mind the cedar bridge! I want the Rattan Day bed. it looks like a doggie bed mattress lol
Holy cow that's one expensive piece! I can picture it on my deck though.............
I think it'd be kewl in Carol or Joanna's or Leslie's backyards, too!
Hey Echoes - wanna bring your saw here?!?!?! I'll bring a Rattan Day Bed back with me when I visit Winnipeg again lol (That might be next spring......... after all, summer comes later here, and I might visit in May........)
