This is an older CV developed by LSU (thanks, Robert, for this information). With cooler weather it lasted 4 days & was 7.5". Covered in buds now. Think its as glad as I am that the hot dry summer is over & the unbelievable rainy Oct has ended. Love this plant but its PINK, right Lexie?
Judy
Amour
Love this one! Itīs realy amour! hihi. I would pronounce the colour creamy pink!
That's a neat soft one Judy. Nice
Thanks Judy for posting a photo of "Amour", its gorgeous, I received the box you sent me yesterday and planted the cutting just a while ago, got up a little late today. Thank you so much Judy, just hope they all take to root soon.
I'm a little frustrated, just lost my "Voodoo Magic" totally, as much as I tried to save it and even took cutting from it to try and propagate it this week, but it failed, all died in a matter of 2 days. Thing is that I had planed to propagate it since it just had grown big enough to take cuttings of it for this moon phase just in case this would happen that I would at lest still have it. I just hope I can get it again someday since it was one of my favorites and had high hope of getting seeds from it this fall.
Anyway, thank you Judy for your kindness in sharing your beauties with me, I just hope that what I send you is of your satisfaction and enjoyment.

Wilfred -- I have two voodoo magic that I ordered from Tried & True in August. Admittedly, I didn't get them transplanted quickly enough, so their growth has been a bit stunted, but they're still green and looking healthy (no blooms yet though). If they continue to do well and set seeds (do they?), I'll be happy to share with you to replace your lost magic.

Wilfred,
I have a Voodoo Magic and will make sure when I prune I get some cuttings to you. Sorry that you lost one of your favorites.

There are very few people who I hold dear to my heart and even though I have never meat them in person but for there kindness they have shown toward me through words and acts, I give my most heart felt thanks and wishes of prosperity to you all, may all the blessings of the universe find you.
I thank you my friends Jennifer and dee,
Your Friend Wilfred
PS. also will thank Debbie, Patrick and others for sharing with me without me asking them to, so shale I do when I give out when I have to those in my heart.
Hey Wilfred, I also have Voodoo Magic & would be happy to share with you. Will have to check & see if there is enough to prune as it is one I got from Tried & True. Does anyone know if it is a good one to grow on its own roots or one that needs to be grafted?
Have read that some will not do well on their own but not sure which ones. One of the best things about sharing plants is when we lose one chances are that other people will have one to send back to you. I'm glad you got your cuttings. I have been cutting for rooting for the whole faze. Not just hibs. ROS, Crepe Myrtles, Wegiela, Tulip Trees, etc.
Have had a whacking good time, Jon. Also have tried to do some cross pollination. Thanks, Jon & Wilfred. Will let y'all know how that goes. Y'all will hear me hollering if I get a seed pod! WHEN I get a seed pod! How's that for positive thinking?
Judy
It's the right time of the year for that Judy. Just forget about them for a couple of weeks and then check them out to see what ya have. I can't handle looking at them every day. It's too much pressure!!! Hehe
Wilfred - I am so sorry you lost one of your favorite hibs, I feel your loss, my friend. I wish I had one to send you.
Judy - I sure like your attitude! I hope all goes well!
Take Care
Tina
