If anyone here had a loved one wounded or worse in the attack, my thoughts are with you and I hope you all have better days ahead.

It was a very tragic day yeserday and for any family affected, we in Texas are with you in spirit . I just feel for anyone who is in the Fort Hood area or who has relatives or friends there. Hoping and praying your loved ones are okay!

My son is stationed in Fort Hood, but he is in Iraq at the moment..so this missed him. I had some people asked me about him.

Belton, TX

Thank you, all. I would be amazed if there was Anyone in this area that was not affected....we knew the civilian retiree...as did a lot of people in the area. He made his home here just as we did after a 20+ year career....to those of us that use Darnell Army Hospital and understand the dramatic shortages of health care personnel in the military system, this barbaric act will have even more impact because as we weep for the loss of military personnel, we also weep because these people were our physician's aides, pharmacy personnel, and transport. These people were there to help us when we needed it most...during emergencies and medical crisis.

The healing has begun and many of us are working to assist in all sorts of ways that are needed to support the family members that are left behind...your prayers are important and appreciated.
