Slug!!

(Lynn) Omaha, NE(Zone 5a)

Hi all,
I have been repotting and found no soil problems, but I did find a slug taking a leisurely swim in one of my Permanest trays. How worried should I get about this? It's the first bug I ever found except flies this summer.

to be on the safe side,id box up all your streps and send them to me,slugs dont like it here, they will move back to warmer climates

LOL Jim,
Guess I better send them to Russia or Siberia or somewhere that's colder than Nebraska!!
Nice try though ^_^.

Hey, slugs LOVE beer! Really. So put a little jar or saucer of beer among your plants and if you have any more, they will belly up to the bar and then drown. ChuLin

Hi ChuLin,
So if I get the little buggers drunk the problem is solved.LOL Seriuosly,I have used saucers of beer outside, but for the life of me I can't figure how a slug could get in my Gessie tray.At first I thought maybe it was one of those soil bugs....a symphillid or something like that.....but it was a slug.
Thank you,I will keep my eyes open.

Lynn
