Yea!!! Congrats your your RSP!! Now, send it this way! LOL!
Was she at your house or one of the gardens you volunteer at?

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

She was at our house, and i was totally surprised to see her.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Bet you about broke you neck running for the camera, I know I would have. Good shots too.

She's beautiful indeed! Congratulations!

Thank you, it seems that the persimmons are attracting many different butterflies, I saw a Viceroy but was not able to get a picture, also many red admirals and question marks, and I got a picture of a snout which I will put up later, I am really excited.
Lots of queens and monarchs too.

OOOH a Viceroy too! I need to keep my eyes peeled!

That's fantastic! Glad to hear that more butterflies are up there! It's been such a slow year...now all these butterflies coming by in November...hope some stay for a while. The snouts have been all over. I see them all day long.

Rancho Santa Rita, TX(Zone 8a)

What are snouts ??

Can you see where they got their name??

Nichols, IA(Zone 5a)

I had two for the first time too! I was confused by the lack of tails as I thought it might have been a swallowtail. Took a while to ID it, but I was thrilled also! They are gorgeous!

Congrats...I had one this time of year last year and almost fell over. They are really beautiful. It was like it was posing for me.

Don't feel bad Sheila, I bet you have spotted a lot of special ones that we haven't.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

The special one I remember was spotted while I was with you! LOL! Remember the Common Mestra? Wasn't common to us. Wish I had had a better focus on it.
