Captan Fungicide spray - use in greenhouse?

North Little Rock, AR(Zone 7b)

I want to mix up and spray some of my greenhouse plants with Captan. Have any of you used it on plants being wintered over in a small greenhouse?

Can I save mixed, unused spray in the sprayer for later use, if needed?

My thanks for your time and advice.

captan is fine to use in a grhouse. However, it is a contact fungicide-it is only used when there is a fungus for it to work on-like botrytis etc. It will not prevent a fungus from happening. Do you see signs of a fungus happening?

Niot sure how long a solution of Captan will last, but whenever I make up a solution, I try to make up just enough for that day's use.

Thank you so much for this helpful information. I do have a few plants that are showing some type of fungus. I am just getting back into gardening and have a small greenhouse (new this year). I don't want this growth to get a foothold so thought I'd spray these plants that are showing signs of a fungus type growth.

I already have Captan here so thought I'd try it first if it is safe to use on plants overwintering in a greenhouse.

My thanks once again for taking time out of your day to help me.

Mary-all of the fungicides were made with spraying in the grhouse as the way that they would be used. I think grhouse growers make up the majority of the people who buy fungicides on a commercial level. Farming agriculture does buy a lot also, but the active ingredients are basically the same.

If you can figure out what the fungus is (if it is a fungus), then you will know whether Captan will address it. Captan will only fix a few of the fungi that there are. If you can take a picture of it, I will probably be able to tell you what the problem is, and how to take care of it.
