philo. 'cheesecake'

Blackshear, GA

Anyone familiar with this? I found it this weekend and thought it was beautiful! At first glance thought it may be a colocasia with the varigation and the way it is growing. They only had two, so I had to get both of them.

Looks like Monstera deliciosa 'Marmorata', Variegated Monstera.

I concur! Just purchased one yesterday!

So, you have never heard of 'cheesecake'. That was how it was labeled.

The plant is often sold as Variegated Philodendron.

I just won this one on eBay called Strawberry Shake. I think they just make up theses names as they go along.

Either way it is a beauty.

Beautiful. I just bought one too. Can I ask you how much you paid for yours? Mine was $40 for a small plant. They are expensive but very beautiful. My friend showed me a picture of one that is huge (posted below). It is Monstera deliciosa albo-maculata.

I still think mine is a philodendron, I looked it up and there are two companies that sell Philo. 'cheesecake' that looks just like mine. If you look closely at my leaves they aren't like the montera. BTW, I paid $10.00 for ea. As it grows I will post more pictures and we shall see.....

Thanks, GAgirl! You got a great deal. Congrats!

The leaves look just like a young Monstera though. If the leaves begin the get more divided and get holes in them as it gets mature, you can verify the Genus.
