It is clear but cool this morning. Sun is shining. I think it is suppose to get into the low 60* today.
Kris should have picked up my sink by now. I'll call in a while to see for sure. Also to see if she knows if Shad is coming and when . It will depend on whether or not he has to work today(second shift). I'm hoping it is what I think it looks like in the picture. It is hard sometimes to know if you are seeing what you think you are seeing. No SS for me. I've worked with too much of it in food service. You need special cleaners to not dull the shine, it looks too dirty too fast, etc. Besides, I don't want my kitchen to look like a cafe'. I love cafe' work, but don't want my kitchen to look like that.
I'm late getting around this morning. Dogs wanted 2 or 3 potty breaks during the night breaking up my sleep. Friday is a long day anyway.
Brenda needs her sweeper back so I need to get moving and take it back to her. The hose was totally plugged up. I think the washable filter was a bit damp when put back in because some of the dirt looked like dried wet cardboard. Anyway, it's ready to work again now.
The church dinner and mortage burning party is after morning services tomorrow so I need to come up with a side dish. I'm thinking an apple crisp made with Parkey ff spray, Stevia, and some LorAnn flavorings in the oatmeal crust. That makes it diabetic and dieter safe. I like to put some of the crust on the bottom, then apples, then crust. Or,push some of the crust down into the apples and a bit more on top. Maybe a juice made into jell-o with some fruit added.
Good to hear the puppies are doing well. But so glad we won't be having any here. LOL. Debbie, do you use lots of Vit. C? I find that helps with sinus pressure most of the time. A tiny smear of Vicks in my nostrils or on the skin just outside the nose helps a lot too. It seems to open up the sinus canals.
Susan, I just use the astrick above the 8 for a degree sign. Lots faster and easier for me.
Joann, your eating sounds pretty healthy to me. Just leave the bottom or top crust off the pie and you will reduce the calores and fat a lot.
Sandra, do you have all the yard planting done yet? Will you interspirse veggies with the flowers next spring? Dill, carrot tops, lettuces, chard, most pepper plants, smaller eggplant plants, etc. all make pretty additions to the flower beds.
Sue, open some probiotic capsules and sprinkle them on the children's foods, then stir in well. They shouldn't even taste them but the benefits will be there. You can't do that with hot foods tho as heat kills the beneficial enzymes immediately but wait until the food is cooled to eating temps or cooler and it should work ok.
Kris may be able to find some place in K.C. that will have the various olives and oils. That would be a fab day for the 2 of us. Thanks for all the talk about them & the good information, Ric. I use mostly grapeseed oil for stirfrying too. Guess where I get mine? At a animal & vet supply and feed store in Sedalia. He carries a pretty big line of BBQ seasonings, oils, etc. He has a basil and a garlic flavor of the gs oils. I like to mix the 2 equaly parts. He also has the plain one and lots of other flavors I don't find too interesting at this time. I got the cocoanut oil last year but it got rancid on the counter and I had to throw most of it out. In the 'fridge it was so hard I couldn't dig any out to use. Next time around I'll immediately portion it out into small containers that I can leave on the counter and get used faster. But then, if I use the gs oil, why do I need both? I have little sense of smell so my sense of taste is also deminished.
I need to go and make this day count for something. ~~~ing to those I missed. GOD bless and keep each of you.
