Remember that portable green house I bought ya'll? Well, dumby me, forgot how hot FL gets and how much it rains, so I left it up all spring/summer. It dry rotted, sniffles. Not to despair, my handy man came up with an excellent idea. My daughter is always complaining about the gardening stuff in the house, so my idea was to throw out everything in the 12 x 16 ft shed I got and get shelves put up so I could store all my gardening stuff. My handyman, who is also my lawn guy, knows how I love to garden, and suggested that while he put up shelves he add a potting bench/table and hooks for my grow lights, then came the idea of a light being installed along with the possibility of a small a/c unit and heater. So, take a gander at my future green house and I might be getting two T-5 lights for my maters guys.
Flower House Green House
Nice! Does it come with air conditioning? .......Sorry could not resist
Kathy: I'm having a small window conditioner added to it along with a small heater. My handy man was going to hang the two flourescents I have; but, I'm thinking T-5 lights instead. Will give me a headstart on my maters hey? LOL Santa claus has come early
this year for me hey?

wow,no kidding. that sounds great!
Kathy: And just in time too right? I had a few strong guys move some of the EBs and GPs off the yard sale tables to the picnic bench, the ones that had dead cauliflower and dead broccoli and lettuce in them, when the 4th EB was put on the picnic bench, kaplooee, it collapsed, not a real bad mess, and nothing else was hurt; but.......

Joy, I see self-watering window boxes in your future! Gardener's has a sale...
Moonglow: I saw that. I'm waiting for the free shipping and handling sale, then I will get 3 of the TSK without the stakes, and other stuff, just the containers themselves.

Just thinking out loud here....Plexiglass roof or skylights would be really cool. Can't have enough light.
Ray, someone else said that too; but, it's a bit expensive, I'd have to take the roof off for that one. LOL Maybe later on down the line as they say though right?

Polycarbonate panels MAY BE less expensive.
Moonglow: I'm not in too big a hurry to start tearing the roof off a $5,000 storage shed quite yet. LOL My handyman is already doing this as a favor by putting in the shelves, the electrical, the lights, potting table and all, and only charging me about $300, is he in the giving mood or what? But, he refuses to take more, aren't I the lucky gal? LOL
