. . . descends on Outback - Thursday, 29 October 2009
Brief article about budgerigar flocks, a native of the Australian outback, filling the sky with black clouds moving swiftly across the horizon.

I'm recalling the uTube film about the bird flocks landing and flying out of trees, appearing to bend the trees nearly to the ground. I need to search that out again. Wouldn't it be cool if someone could film the budgies similarly for us? Hmmm, perhaps I'll search for "budgie flocks" on uTube and see what comes up.

I remember seeing that on a special about Australian birds. It's a great sight!
