Some friends attended a dinner party @ a country club. They have raved on & on about the potatoe dish that was served. I want to make it for them. A thick cream/whole milk sauce, grated potatoes, maybe cheese? Maybe chicken broth part of the heavy cream base? Sound familiar. I may write the newspaper as they sometimes get recipes from restaurants etc but that would take some weeks to get a reply. So in the meantime, anyone have such a recipe?
