Patty always posts on this forum and I wanted to tell you that her 45 year old husband had an aneurysm first two weeks ago. When they operated and had to clamp it off a certain way to save his life, it caused a major stroke. He is still in intensive care and I am going over to have lunch with Patty today after noon visiting hours in ICU.
I know she would appreciate your prayers and positive thoughts for Craig.

Prayers being said for Patty's husband and Patty too.
Christine
Please tell her that we are praying for her husband.
oh so young too! Thoughts go out to the family!
I saw Patty yesterday and we went to lunch..........she is doing much better than I could ever do under the same set of circumstances........she does have a lot of faith and truly is able to turn Craig over to God. I did tell her yesterday that a lot of people on DG were praying for them.
Will be without a computer (using my brother's right now) so I might not check back in but hope at some point patty will come on and read how many people really care about her personal pain........

Have been following on the Prayer Forum. Praying for complete healing.
I don't think Patty would mind if I copied and pasted her update today on Craig.........in an email..........received early this morning.
Craig's temperature came down yesterday and was in the 101 to 100 range. The chest x-ray was clear but he sounds congested when he coughs sometimes. They have him on additional antibiotics since the temperature increase. This morning the nurse said he had an uneventful night (Thank You Lord) and his temperature was 100.4 when I came in. He has been awake since I got here and when the nurse talked to his doctor he said that Craig responded to a couple of simple commands. He is awake right now and I'm watching him move his left hand (which is gloved) up to his nose. I keep "getting on" him about not messing with the tubes in his nose. (He was a bad boy and already pulled one out a few days ago.)
They are going to take him off his some of his med's and see how he responds neurologically so please start praying that he will have a positive response to this change. Please also pray that in the not too distant future he will regain his speech. This would be such an encouraging sign if he could talk with us especially with Seth. I know Seth is dealing with this, but it is hard for him and I think he so needs to know that God has this under control and is healing his dad. What a blessing it would be if I could call Seth on his cell and have his father say "Hi son!" I pray this will occur soon!!!!!
Praying continously for this family.
Christi
Me, too, Christi and the prayer warriors are busy in her church and community.
Continued prayers for Patty and Craig from Kansas...
