HAPPY BIRTHDAY Kathy!
Kathy, I almost missed you Birthday even when I knew it was your birthday when I got a big bunch of flowers from my DH for our shared special day. I think it was our 31st anniversary today. He is in Nantucket and I am in Boston, but we are heading to Vt to be together for the weekend. I hope you had a wonderful party last weekend. Most sorry to have missed it. Love to D and the real Boojum. Patti

Hi Laurel!
Hi Dave. Hope you raised the roof on yours. Ain't it funny how time slips away?
Laurel
Hi Laurel!!! How great to see you posting! I've also missed YOU! How are things at Maypop?
OMG, it looks just like me, Laurel! Except I don't attract spiders anymore.
Thanks Dave!
HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!
^_^
Kathy, this photo is def more up our alley. I love the idea that you can dress up for school.
Louise, about Maypop...the forest has managed to stay off of the house and garden. However the hot water heater BLEW up, we showered with a hose tied to a hitching post for much of the summer, and I won the argument about tankless vs. not tankless (tankless won). He did have a valid argument about the instant reward possible from having a company install a standard heater. He had to do massive house re-wiring, redirect water lines and crawl around in the creepy, dirt part of the basement. I shouted words of encouragement from the garden in response to the swearing emanating from the basement. Our power bill dropped by thirty percent usage compared to same time last year.
Laurel
Laurel - love that display!! Very clever! Glad you won the argument about the tankless option! Maypop is really going tres moderne!!! Congrats!
Happy Birthday again, Kathy.....LOL
What a luvly display MPL!
Thanks again Louise. You're right about the crow lady, Laurel!
The credit goes to the Atlanta Botanical Garden and the local people who volunteer to create "Scarecrows In The Garden". It's been a corporate venture in the past, but they opened it to all this year.
We have tankless too, but so many other things changed at the same time (oil to gas, no. of people doing laundry and taking showers, etc.) that a side by side comparison wasn't really possible. So yours is VERY heartening! Three cheers!
Happy birthday again, Kathy .... !
