Hughesville, MO(Zone 5a)

I came up to Kris's after my volunteer hours at the cafe' last night. Got here about 9:45. This morning she was suppose to represent her company at the Breast Cancer 3K run here in KC. but when we got there we learned there are a LOT of step to climb. More than I can possibly do so she called someone and left a message that she had gotten as far as she cold go. Then we went into the Union station and looked around. We thought about going tto see the Chocolate Factory exhibit but decided we could end up sick just smelling so much sweetness. We left there and went to the open outdoor City Market where we got some fresh veggies & fruits & I got some raw honey from a small town between home and here along with a flyer on the farm, products, etc.. We took all that back to a place where I could just sit while she went for the car as my hip was giving out. When she came back we loaded it all into the car and we walked a block or so to Planters, a spice/tea/garden center store where we both stocked up on spices and looked at windchimes, bulbs, planters, etc.For lunch we went to Red Lobster where she treated me to the unlimited shrimp special with salad, garlic/cheese biscuits, she got a backed potato and I got steamed broccoli. We ate every kind of shrimp on the unlimited menu plus 2 more the waiter mentioned. It was so good. I have only dreamed of doing that. It was so good. I did drink 2 16 0z glasses of ice cold water. We have been to a Pet Smart for degu lab blocks, WalMart for bags for the vacumm sealer for all that garlic, a flea market, and another odds & ends store. Then back here. We are both so tired. She is napping and I'm doing this. I was going to go home but am too tired to be a safe driver. Holly said she will let the dogs back in and lock up the birds. I can just go home early in the morning. I'm about to go to sleep.

Sue keep Savannah on those meds until they are gone and she sees the doctor again. You don't wan't to breed a strronger more antibiotic resistant strain in her system.

Vic, I'm glad to hear the spider bite is better.

GOD bless and keep each of you.
