Can someone help me tag???

I know I asked before how to tag pages, but I click on the little folder at top and from there nothing. Pages I think I have tagged are nowhere to be found. All I can do is read the tagged pages from ALL members (way too many to go through)!What the #$%^&* am I doing wrong?

I just tried it and it works.

1) I clicked on the folder located on the upper right hand side of the window.
2) That took me to this page:
http://davesgarden.com/tools/tags/add.php
After adding the tag names, be sure to click on the "Add these tags" button.
3) The next window is this:
http://davesgarden.com/tools/tags/add.php
If you click on the View your personal tagged pages, you should get a list of your tagged pages.
If you click on the View all tagged pages, you should be able to find your tags filed alphabetically under the names you assigned.

Unfortunately, this thing wouldn't let me use the bland 'add tag' page. You an cross reference the thread under more than one name.

I put the thread name in if it's short, otherwise I shorten it so I know what it means.It says you can add more than one tag separated with comas but I haven't figured that out yet ( or what advantage there is to that).

The advantage is you can look it up in more than one way - cross reference. For example, if you had a thread on a banana tree, you could classify it under "Fruit tree: banana", tropical plants, tropical fruit, the specific name of the banana. These would give you a general location in which to look, but you would also want to be more specific for a quicker find.

can I move them around after I'v tagged them the way you can when you put files in a folder??

Can you tag just part of a thread?
