I think I need to add more to my garden also.

Yes the hybrid Nerine and Lycoris are indeed beautiful. I have many varieties of Nerines - all species, but never any of the Lycoris. They have a different colour range to Nerines - being mainly pink shades. There has been a wonderful amount of hybridisation of Nerines over many years. I see Tottori that you are in Japan - this is one place that many plants have been beautifully hybridised. Have the Lycoris been hybridised with anything else? I think their origins are in your part of the world.

Hi Keriblu

That's right, Keribu. Japanese breeders are making many beautiful hybrids
of Lycoris. And they are very adapted to grow in here.
However, Nerine is hard-to-raise bulb in here but more beautiful than
Lycoris. So, I'm attracted to Nerine.
Anyway, I'm very interested in South African bulb plants. There are so many
beautiful and unique spices! I ordered some kinds of seeds from South Africa and glowing them now:)
