CLOSED: Need an ID, please.

This bird has me stumped. Its chest makes me think "House Finch", but its head doesn't fit. It is also larger than a house finch.

I'll up-load three photos. All have been cropped, but not enhanced with Picasa.

If you don't see him this year, look for them again next spring! I have them for about a week or so at the beginning of May.

I've only seen the duller female also. Hope to someday see the male.
