I'm looking for a fruitcake recipe that includes dried fruits and nuts. I'm looking for something that can be made like a traditional fruitcake, meaning soaked in liquor and stored long term. I must not be searching right, I find lots of recipes for quick breads like that, but I want something I can wrap, keep in a tin and ship as gifts. Any thoughts?
