It's blooming again! I posted back in June I think and now it is blooming again. I just wish it would grow some. Anybody have any advice on this one.

the only blue amaryllidacea is this one:

but your foliage doesn't look like worsleya, unless it just doesn't show in the pic. whatever yours is, it is GORGEOUS and I am coveting big time!
I guess it could also be a belladona with more than average blue tinting. Some of my bulbs have blue at the tips, but yours look to be that blue/violet all over. But it could be. I didn't think belladonas bloomed more than once yearly though.
That is one of those plants taht makes you say
"WOW"
supposedly, that is what it is. I traded for it on DG, won't say from whom, because I don't think she does much trading anymore. It is only a baby, about 3-4 inches tall. I don't know, just going by what she told me. I have had it over a year and basically it has not grown any. Almost killed it one time. It's cute whatever it is.
It is not worsley, the Gardino's had it some time ago but no longer in their catalog. I am sorry but I can't remember the name.
I am not familliar w/ this plant, but could it be griffinia?

Vossner, that 's it.
GAgirl, in closer examination, I think you have griffinia. lovely plant. don't know anything about it but want it! lol
Now that I see that name, I think that is what she wrote on the tag...lost it at some point in time. All I could remember was blue amaryllis. So now I can research that and maybe figure out how to get it to grow better and produce 'babies'. Thank you all so much!
I'm researching the Griffinias now for Plantfiles. GAgirl, you have a very rare baby. :) Treat her well. :)

You do have a beauty there!!
Has anybody else tried to grow Griffinias? They are really gorgeous and I can't wait to give them a try! Beautiful plant GAgirl!

Thank you everyone, if anyone does have any suggestions on their growth, please let us know.
After looking for more info on my baby, it appears she may be mature, especially since it it blooming. What I have read, is that they are usually 4-6 years old before they bloom and all the pictures I find, it looks like the leaves are only about 3-6 inches long. So I guess my baby is done growing, so maybe she will start multiplying.
