I know Shanika but then when I buy some I don't feel so bad if i get some of you to buy some too LOL and 5.95 with such a small shipping cost is really good :)

LOL! Did you get some? I just won some stuff from him. I got streps, AVs and one Glox 'Carla'. So pretty! I was secretly hoping he would post another auction on Monday of this week, but it was not to be! I even went looking again at Violet Gallery last night after seeing some of the awesome leaves from Teaz on eBay. Her(?) leaves cost too much and she gives only 1. Turns out VG has most of the ones I saw that I wanted on her sight and they give you 2 leaves for about 50 cents less! Bishop, Deadly Sting, Ethel's Reflections, Guelph's Dynamite and Christmas and Lime Jewel were some of the ones I'm talking about. However, it seems only Teaz has Kei Yoki, Yoki, Double Jeopardy, Garden Party, Glenna and High School Sweetheart(for some reason I think I remember Lyons having this one). Have you ever bought from Teaz?

Hi Shanika :)

Yes I did buy 6 plants from him :) I had bought one for my sister's Birthday and she loves it and I had lost some of his because I didn't know right away that I should repot his plants as his soil is just not good in a home environment works great in a greenhouse I guess but not in my home so I lost several of the plants I bought from him but since then I have repotted any I buy from him and they are fine and his plants are sooooooo big and nice , I like to keep buying from people who send quality goods and he sure does :)

Did you buy any Shanika LOL come on fess up :)

Hugs :)

Oh and yes I have bought from Teaz and most of the time I was happy with my purchase , one thing about her though is if you buy more than one leaf of a plant( say you buy 2 ) and you pay for each one she tends to send one nice leaf and one leaf that I would consider to be substandard , not always but a few times this has happened to me with her so consider the money part more with her , her leaves are expensive so make sure you really really want to spend the money on a leaf and make sure you can't get a plant of it from someone else cheaper in the long run ie. VG or some other vendor or ebayer , I always check around before I commit my money . I have several of the ones you listed .

Hi Viostrep,
I saw your post after placing an order with David T. on ebay. I got Salmon sunset, Draculas shadow and Helter Skelter. All plants are blooming and very healthy. The mail service was not so nice, but they survived the ordeal. I'll probably repot them in a day or two after the travel stress has worn off some.

LOL, I didn't buy any more from VG......yet. I get paid tomorrow so all bets are off. LOL I have to order these few because Mahlen doesn't ship after 10/31!

Your Kei- Yoki is beautiful!

That's too bad about Teaz. I would have had a hard time parting with that much money for one leaf anyway. Especially since I'm a savvy consumer now. LOL I know I can find that leaf somewhere else....it may take me a bit of time, but I know I'll find it for less!

Bishop is just to die for. I love those frilly pink/white/green blossoms! Heck, they are all to die for. Great thing about gessies- you don't have to choose a favorite. They can all be your favorite!

Oh I am sorry Tamberlin , did they get crushed or cold ? I have always gotten his plants in absolutely perfect shape and he sends such gorgeous large plants so I hope you can get them happy again , I think in all the boxes I have gotten from him I had only two leaves to put into soil , I wish you all the best with them :)

Shanika don't buy Kei-Yoki , I will have plants to share in the Spring , it is getting kind of late for me to ship now , I don't have heatpacks but if you still don't have one by Spring I can send you one :)

streps can take the cold if its not artic out,in fact when i get leaves in and i dont have time to plant them, ill add them to the refrigator
to the crisper, they are fine for weeks if they are healthy when they go it,just check them ever so often,if they have paper towels on the end
remove them ,
good luck

Viostrep and Jim,
The box was a little smooshed at the leaf top end, so the roots are fine. The plants are a little wobbly in their pots, but hopefully a little drink will perk them up. I'll transplant them tomorrow probably. What a treat to open the box and see the beautiful Salmon Sunset blooms!

Tamberlin ,

I got Salmon Sunset from him too and it is gorgeous , I almost lost it cause I didn't know I should repot it right away and it was slowly dieing on me but I saved it just before it went over the cliff out of reach and now it is big and blooming and I just adore the vivid color , I hope maybe in the future I might trade for a leaf of Bonnie's Orange Sherbert , it is gorgeous :)

Note to self: repot David's plants as soon as they arrive! I would hate to lose them! Did I tell you all which ones I won? I can't remember....so here goes:
Streps: Moonlit velvet, Fire and Ice, Katie, Frosty Twilight, Burgundy Ruffles
AVs: Supernature, Kara's Birthday Surprise(chimera), Satin Wine
Sinn. Speciosa- Carla

Hopefully the plants will come next week!

I see a major repotting event in my near future...... Of course, I go to ebay and see many many more streps than there were for sale when I first looked. Unfortunately, I am cut off due to a severe home plumbing issue that's going to wipe out the discretionary income for a while..... Oh well. I'm going to baby the ones I have :)
