Has anyone experience with growing fruits and nuts as part of a community garden?
Community Orchards and/or Nut growing?
I donated about 8 trees to my community garden in San Marcos, I plan on keeping them pruned small so they can grow crops around them. We planted them last winter.
The idea is great to add to the food produced.
As the idea was floated here---I think it is a separate area from the garden.
Others have floated the idea of a community greenhouse as our growing season is short.
