cape honeysuckle

I have 2 cape honeysuckle one gets morning sun - loaded with blooms, one gets afternoon and not a bud. Someone mentioned theirs weren't blooming in another thread.
Guess I'll be moving a plant this week. :)

Isn't that interesting to see your comparison. Thanks.

I've always heard morning sun is better, but I've never really understood why.

I have mostly afternoon sun in our yard and I think that's why I get so frustrated over our lack of good bloom in the garden.

Thanks for posting.

Yes, I have three also. One gets full sun and is always blooming - the hummingbirds love it.

The other two are pretty shaded - one under an oak tree - it popped up there and I just never moved it. The other against the garage - shaded by an oak tree as well. Keep meaning to get rid of those two but just never get around to it.

The one in the full sun puts out runners along the fence line and it's hard to contain!
