Well, thought this would be an interesting thread, its more on the line of floral design, but with potted flowers. They can be annuals or perennials or whatever. I also figured this might give us all some planning ideas for what to plant!
Im gonna cheat on the starters since our growing season is over but here goes....
(I saw these at a nursery and snuck a snap!)
They are bushel baskets of fall annuals
Now you dont have to use a bushel basket, use any container you want to! But it has to be a combo of plants!
COMBOS 2010
Very nice, I love the country look especially this time of year. I am just getting ready to do my Christmas things to sell when we open to sell Christmas Trees. If I have time I will show you some of them. My grave cones are really neat, but very traditional unfortunately. LOL
Well, JB, tradition is quite good. It keeps the spirit alive!
So what were we talking before a combo of varigated spiders, the wandering jews, margarites, allysum, for a hanging basket?
Some of the popular combos out here have been the purple fountain grass with coleus, and sweet potato vines, some kind of white frilly flower that I dont know the name of, but I suppose convent gyp would worl and pansys... the fall color in that combo is good all summer too!
No holds barred on the holidays here, mix it up and have fun! Its COMBO time! Displays too.. there are great idea out there!
Dont forget the pics too!
