YEA!! Here is a picture of one of my two brugs that I purchased early this year.
This is Pink Perfeckton. They both had a case of mites and I manged to get this one to grow and it finally just put on buds.
The weather has taken a turn for the worse here. Cold.
I am just so happy that I was able to see a liking of what a double looks like! So I am happy.
Now I just need to wait for the rain to stop and then I will dig him up and bring him in along with my other brug that did not grow but is still alive(triple).
Question: Should I leave the "sucker" shoot on the plant or should I cut him off and make a cuttings when I dig him up and put him in a pot in my house.
I do not have a basement so I figured I would stripp the leaves off of him and the other and spray them down and keep them barely alive at my back window.
Any suggestions welcomed..As I do not want to loose these.
Thanks
My first Double- Finally Bloomed!!
Here are some photos of Pink Perfektion. The shade of pink can vary from flush to flush. Brugs are easily influenced by a variety of factors. Some cultivars become paler in cool weather. My Mountain Magic gets darker in the fall as the days and nights start to cool down, but in the middle of winter, the color is paler.

I would leave the "sucker" on the mother plant until it reaches the desired height or "Y"s because it grows faster that way.
Interesting that you call this Brug a "him" rather than a "her". I call most of my Brugs "her" except for a few. LOL

Bettydee- Thank you for sharing the photos. I like darker color better.Though I wont complain because I finally was able to see a bloom. The bloom is a bit strange because they are so far apart.
Thanks for the advise on the sucker.
I dug them up , removed the leaves and sprayed them. I have them in pots. They are in shock. I watered them down and will try and see if I can keep them alive, not dormant. I feel safer doing this.
Funny that you said that..yep its a "boy" LOL! She changed genders when I dug him up and stripped him! -
I am going to take cuttings and try the method using the wet moss and plastic and then some in water.
I will compare. Had a frost warning just last night very close to here.
Wish me luck!
