The Rio Grande Valley of Texas is the place to go for "different" birds. They even have their own special kind of orioles--the Altimira Oriole.

Beautiful Bird!
Awesome colors on this bird. It's very similar to our Hooded Oriole, except for the yellow on the wings. I imagine it's beautiful in flight.
