CLOSED: House or Purple Finches please

Can anyone tell me if this pair of finches are the House or the Purple? We have both here in our area.

This is the other one and they left together so I'm assuming they're both the same.

Both House Finches - note the curved top of the bill, the drab head pattern of the female (top photo) and the smudgy brown streaking on the breast
