CLOSED: HAVE for Postage Unnamed Daylilies for a Survivor

Northeast, AR(Zone 7a)

I have some unnamed daylilies (mostly orange, red, and yellows--no ditch lilies!) and other plants for someone who is starting over and has a fairly blank slate. If you're a victim of a fire, storm, divorce or other tragedy, post your story here. I'll select two people to receive some nice size packages--probably a #7 priority mail box. Postage could run probably $12 or even $15 depending on how much I can fit in there.

I need to unload some plants from my plant racks that collapsed due to all the rain here shifting the ground. (I absolutely will NOT admit that my racks were poorly constructed--absolutely not! :-) ) I don't know what all plants I'll find under the collapsed racks, but there will be several varieties of daylilies for sure and some other perennials hardy to zone 7 at least. I can even throw in some Red Dazzler canna rhizomes.

Most of my plants are sun, drought and heat tolerant. And they survive my neglectful gardening, so they're great even for beginners. If you're looking for something in particular or have certain gardening needs/wants, let me know. You can look at my trade list to get an idea of some of the things I have. I can share many of my seeds with you too.

So if you're rebuilding your life and your gardens, let me know. If your story is too private, just post here letting me know you'll dmail me and we'll keep it private.

Happy Gardening!

Thank you, NancyAnn...this is a very sweet idea. When I first read the title, I assumed that survivor meant breast cancer survivor and that would be sooo appropriate during this month of awareness...

I sent a dmail. your offer is very nice.

Surviving breast cancer would certainly qualify. My sister in law is currently undergoing chemo for breast cancer, and it has definitely altered and somewhat robbed her life. I know from personal experience that any serious illness can cause you to give up...on gardening, on relationships, on life in general. Your focus is to just get thru each day as well as you can and sometimes you can't focus on anything but the illness and its pain and stress. So if someone lost his/her gardens due to serious illness, you certainly qualify for this offer. There's nothing more spiritual and healing than gardening, is there?
