Our first major rain storm of the season got here yesterday. Late morning during a heavy rain I looked out one of the front windows and saw eight different species of birds chowing down in a small space around the feeding station. They were, Dark-eyed Junco, Sparrow, Steller's jay, Cal. Quail, Goldfinch,Scrub Jay, Spotted Towhee, and Anna's Hummingbird. Today duringthe rain a few miles from here I spotted some wild Turkeys.

Rain Rain
Nice ones adel!!!
Great news Adel! How many hummers have you got there now? I'm still counting at least 25 Anna's. Our Cedar Waxwings started arriving yesterday-much earlier than in past years.
It looks like there might be two Anna's still here. Most of the time I only see one, but on occasion I see two at the feeder.
