Does Anyone have Pictures?

Deland, FL & Hot Spr, AR

Recently DH took me to Bob Smoley's and I picked up some epi cuttings. There were three of which I cannot find pictures. I have pictures of everything else. The ones I can't find pictures of are:

DRESDEN DOLL
MIAMI RED
MATADOR

I have searched on the internet for pictures of these, but for some reason, can't find any. Sandy, if you are out there, HELP!

DARN, DARN!!!!! BLASTIC!!!! I WILL NOT BUY ANY EPIS NOW!!!!

No I can not find any pictures of these 3, did find a lot of plants that I want. Darn it! Can not buy any right now.
They may be really new ones. When I talked to them earlier this year they told me that they where getting some imported from somewhere.

Thanks anyway, Sandy. My eyes were about crossed from looking on different websites for these three, so I suppose I will have to just wait and be surprised if and when they bloom! All of my cuttings that I brought back to AR are looking good. BYTW, how is your shoulder doing?

Surgery is on the 27th. Hoping this fixes it enough. The other surgery would be a major one.

I did get the new shade cloth up, like it a lot. Now the light is brighter but spread out by the reflexive of the light. Does look like it is wrapped in Aluminum. LOL And it seems to also be cooler in there

Glad you got your shade cloth up. Our sunroom is all glass, but our roof looks like it is aluminum, too! LOL Will be thinking of you and praying for successful surgery on the 27th. Take care.

Thanks

How do you keep it cool enough??

Heat is my main problem right now.

We have an air conditioner and the glass is also treated to cut down on the heat generated by the sun shining on it. We also have a fan. In the winter, when we leave for FL, we keep it at about 55 degrees and have all our tender plants in it, which also don't have to be watered too often. Also, if we happen to have it on air and are away and the temperature in the sunroom drops below 45 (I think), the heat comes on. Our neighbor comes in and checks the plants periodically giving them a little water when they need it. So far, my epis have loved it and stay in there year round (now two of them are too big to move anyway). This year the two big epis had four flushes, so it must suit them! It makes me happy! I kept this bloom in the refrig for four days and it lasted several hours before giving up.

Wonderful on keeping the flower so long.

I am thinking about getting a solar panel so I can run a fan out there during the summer. I think it get way to hot in there. And the sun light was a time either to strong or not strong enough.
With this metallic shade cloth the light is reflected and it looks brighter with out being to strong. I have a large piece of 40% that covers 2 sides and a strip of 30% over the top of this around the top.
The shade house is on the east side of the house with a wooden fence on the east side and a metal building on the north and only about 4 feet between it and the house. I may have to get another bigger strip of the 30% later but we well wait and see.
