The Crested Caracara (Mexican Eagle)

Livingston, TX(Zone 8b)

We made a visit to see Friends in Leakey, Tx. I got to see my first Mexican Eagle. They were quite a distance away, and it was a very over cast day. I was able to get a couple of neat shots. I just wanted to share with ya'll.

We also got to see the migration of the hawks. We had to google to know what we were looking at. It was amazing. These guys were really high and going higher. The first shot is of the kettle catching the currents.
