This photo was taken in Juno, TX, in Val Verde County. This hawk had an injured leg. I don't believe it was as large as the Cooper's Hawks I've seen, so I'm leaning towards Sharp-shinned hawk.
CLOSED: Sharp-shinned or Cooper's Hawk?
Probably a smaller Cooper's Hawk 14-19 inches, I,m going by the white of the undertail not positive though.
