Actually, probably a chilly bird? This was early on a cool morning. The flying bird looked like it was trying to feed the upside down one. He hung out like that for a good 5 minutes, long enough for me to get really close and make sure he was still breathing :) Then, just flew off. Sorry the picture's not great. Had to hurry and took it through the window!
Maybe torpor .... they seem to be sleeping until... mine have done that when the food is still cold. great pictures.
