Your picture of Begonia 'Black Taffeta' is actually Begonia 'Black Mamba'. It was distributed with the incorrect name by a wholesaler and I corrected them but it was already too late since their catalog and labels were already printed. I hybridized Begonia 'Black Mamba' so I am sure of the identity and also where they got it from. Begonia 'Black Taffeta' is a Michael Kartuz hybrid that has a black star shaped leaf with no spirals in the leaf sinus...brad thompson
