H. davidcummingii

I received this one back beginning of summer and it bloomed right away came with peduncle - thanks Carol. My question is how often does this one bloom, because yesterday while I was out picking and poking around I noticed the the peduncle's, yes it has 2 now, has got buds starting up. Thanks

Ive found this one blooms a couple of times a year, and Ive also found it quite sensitive to watering.......Ive read now, since my plant went into decline, that it needs even moisture.. I now do have 3 pots growing with a few cuttings in each pot that I rooted in time and hopefully now I can keep them going....but it hasnt proved to be the easiest to grow, for me anyhow

This one has been no trouble for me. I keep it wet which is no problem since it is outside. My test will be when I bring it in for the couple of months is gets to cold to keep it outside.

Mine bloomed earlier this summer and is blooming again now after our torrential rains earlier this fall. It really seems to enjoy lots of humidity. It never bloomed for me inside, just outside.
