Just a thought for you to consider...I put parrot's feather into a pot and sunk it with the other plants as an experiment, last winter. We have to keep a small heater for the koi, so that should be considered I'm sure. Anyway, the parrot's feather survived the winter with the water iris and the like. If you don't find a trade, you might give this a try?
Our pond is quite small.we dont have fish we use to before we moved it is one of those tubs in the ground with waterfall LOL.i dont even thing it is a cpl feet.I am going to rechange it next year.so I dont know what to do
