Watching/Sharing/Enjoying Margaret's Ospreys Journey/Garden.

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

I decided that I'd not clog up Margaret's wonderful GROWING in an OSPREY'S GARDEN thread. I'll however open this thread to share/add my thought and appreciation of her sharing such a gift. Thank you Margaret. I'm late in discovering your thread, but here I'm enjoying your wonderful story about Aussie's journey. Her parents', Old Ma and Pa, then ofcourse the step Mom 'Big Hook'. Now the Saga continues with the newly arrival of Ausie's step-sibling(s).

On beautiful unusual strange, but fascinating birds from your Country. I couldn't help but yearning to learn more about the Eastern Australia's Kingfisher: (Among others such as the cockatoo, willy wagtails, corollas, honeyeaters ect.). They're most interesting.

Oh Lily, that is just the loveliest thing to do and say. Thank you so much and you'd never clog the thread. I feel it would be wrong of me not to share the amazing events I'm able to see every day at the Osprey nest and yes, it is a gift.

You might like to have a look at these threads I started last year. There may be some birds you're not familiar with.

Yes, LL, they are awesome birds and pictures.

But she would like a few of our Blue Jays! ;-)

She's still trying to get me to pack up a few Buntings for her......with all those colorful birds in Australia, thank goodness we have some members there to capture them with cameras. Lily, your description above is reminding me of Little House On The Prairie......but then I loved that show as much as I do Margarets' wonderful Osprey threads. Thank you Margaret!

Thank you so much. Your comments are very humbling. I just love being able to share what I see and equally, I love to see all the spectacular birds from the USA, Canada, the UK and even from other parts of Australia. It's very different viewing photos that have been taken by people you "know". Books are fantastic, but don't have that personal touch.

Thank you so very much Margaret for all the links to your previous threads. My main focus at the 'Here and Now' is on your fascinating Ospreys. Other threads ofcourse would be a nice source of educational/entertainment read. I did looked look into your first thread with the Black Swans and their youngs -- how beautiful they all are. Thanks again for your generosity. I can appreciate fully with the "Personal Touch" idea.

Yes Nanny, I agree with you completely.

Mrs_ed (Marna) ^_^ so here is the scoop; you'd send Margaret Blue Jays, GP will send Margaret Buntings, oh I love to see those Buntings too myself, GP. Realistically, I can send Margaret pictures of Redheaded Woodpeckers from my backyard. lol.

GP. "Little House On The Prairie" was indeed one of my fav. How about "The Wild Wild West" with
Dan Boone (?).

editted for typo as noted above. Please pardon.

I never really cared for Wild,Wild West, but Robert Conrad was a nice looking guy!

Robert Conrad? Not Boone? Thank you for the clarification. Oooops!

Daniel Boone was a man…

Marna, The man? It's on my book of childhood's American's Idols. lol, he R. Conrad, Paul Newsman, John Wayne, Clint Eastwood down to present day Robert Redford. Ah, maybe one of my all time favorite, 'Magnun P.I.' Tom Sellick (sp.?).

GP. at least we can agree on one thing. Robert Conrad was easy on the eyes. LOL

No no, someone is suppose to respond with the next phrase of the lyrics.
lol

yes, a big man
With an eye like an eagle
and as tall as a mountain he was.

Daniel Boone was a man,
Yes, a big man!
He was brave, he was fearless
And as tough as a mighty oak tree!
