I don't know anything about butterflies but took photos of these in my garden this morning. The last picture I believe is some kind of moth.

If you have passion vines in your yard - you're sure to have more Gulf Frits coming 'round. That is one of their larval host plants.

The Long-tailed skipper uses legumes - so if you have blue pea vine, lima beans, pole beans, snail vine - etc - you might end up with lots of happy caterpillars :o)

As for the Palamedes - they'll use Redbay, Sassafras, Laurel and a few others in that family.

Here's two Fritilarys mating, what a frenzy! Must have found the G spot.

I believe those butterflies refer to it as the "G"ulf spot :o)
